1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how the DreamOS iOS application and dreamos.nawaeurope.com are operated by NAWA Europe, the operator of nawaeurope.com (referred to as “DreamOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It applies when you use the app, this website, or contact support.
2. Information the iOS app accesses
Apple Health information
Only after you grant permission, DreamOS may read sleep analysis records and available sleep stages, heart rate, heart-rate variability, respiratory rate, and oxygen-saturation estimates. Apple Health lets you approve or deny each category and change access later in iOS Settings or the Health app.
Preferences and app-generated information
DreamOS stores your selected bedtime and wake boundaries, target sleep duration, automation options, local sleep assessments, personalized baselines, and confidence estimates. Widgets and Live Activities use a limited on-device summary shared through Apple’s App Group mechanism. Raw biometric values are intentionally excluded from the Lock Screen summary.
Notifications and alarms
If you allow them, the app uses Apple notification and alarm services to provide wind-down, wake, and morning-summary experiences. Your choices can be changed in iOS Settings.
3. How information is used
DreamOS uses permitted information to:
- estimate sleep duration, continuity, regularity, and likely recovery;
- personalize an on-device baseline and improve the relevance of future wellness estimates;
- display factors, confidence, pattern notices, and automatic next-night actions;
- operate widgets, Live Activities, reminders, and alarms you enable;
- maintain app security, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.
DreamOS does not use Apple Health information for advertising, marketing profiles, credit or insurance decisions, or sale to data brokers.
4. On-device machine learning
The current version uses rules and adaptive statistical learning on your iPhone to build a personal sleep baseline from recent permitted data. Your local model and sleep assessments are not uploaded to a DreamOS server. The model provides general-wellness estimates; it does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Information sent to us
The current app does not create a DreamOS account and does not transmit HealthKit information to us. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, device and iOS version, or screenshots. Please do not send health records or other sensitive information in a support message.
The website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics in its current form. Standard hosting security logs may temporarily record technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and suspected abuse events.
6. Legal bases in the EEA and UK
Where applicable, we process support communications because they are necessary to respond to your request or pursue our legitimate interest in providing and securing DreamOS. We process information when required by law. Health information used inside the app is processed on your device under permissions you control; it is not received by us in the current version.
7. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Limited website or support data may be handled by hosting, email, security, or professional-service providers acting under our instructions. We may disclose information if legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Apple processes information through iOS, HealthKit, notifications, alarms, widgets, Live Activities, and App Store services under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
8. Retention and deletion
App preferences, personalized baselines, and assessments remain on your device until you delete them from DreamOS, reset the app, or uninstall it. Deleting DreamOS data does not delete original records from Apple Health. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain security and records, and meet legal obligations. Routine hosting logs are generally retained for a limited security period set by the hosting provider.
9. Security
DreamOS uses Apple platform protections, local application storage, HealthKit permissions, and data minimization. No method is completely secure, and device security also depends on your passcode, Apple Account, system updates, and sharing choices.
10. Your choices and rights
You can decline or revoke Health access, notifications, Live Activities, widgets, and alarms through DreamOS or iOS settings. You can delete local DreamOS assessments in the app. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for personal information we actually hold, or complain to your data-protection authority. Because current health analysis stays on your device, we generally cannot retrieve or export it for you.
California residents may request information about collection, deletion, correction, and use of personal information where applicable. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.
11. Children
DreamOS is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
12. International processing
Website hosting or support providers may process limited technical or communication data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use lawful transfer safeguards. HealthKit information used for current app analysis is not transferred to us.
13. General-wellness limitation
DreamOS estimates whether sleep was likely restorative and explains contributing signals. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat insomnia, sleep apnea, or other conditions, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Seek urgent medical help when appropriate.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when DreamOS features or legal requirements change. We will publish the new effective date here and provide additional notice in the app when a change is material.
